My husband, friends and I enjoy the views at Mansfield Dam on Lake Travis. There is a medium size free parking lot on the south side. The view below the dam of Lake Austin is nice but the view of the Lake Travis is mostly covered by trees. The dam is closed to visitors. There is some good fishing below the dam.
