What is Macmiror used for?
Macmiror Complex® is a fixed combination of Nifuratel and Nystatin. Nifuratel is member of the group of nitrofurans. It is a synthetic chemotherapeutic agent for the treatment of infectious diseases of the descending urinary tract and the genital tract.

Instructions for use: To obtain the most favourable therapeutic result, introduce the soft vaginal capsule into the upper part of the vagina. During treatment, avoid sexual intercourse. Keep in a dry place at temperatures below 25°C.

Insertion without the applicator:
- Remove the vaginal ovule from its packaging (See Figure 1).
- Holding the ovule with your thumb and a finger, insert it into the vagina.
- Using your finger, gently push the ovule into the vagina as far as it will comfortably go.
- Once inside the vagina, the ovule melts.

How long does the ovule take to dissolve?
Once inside the vagina, the ovule will dissolve within approximately 40 minutes, in which time it forms a layer on the vaginal wall. The consistency the product maintains after insertion should prevent any leakage.
